Two Days of Exchange and Collaboration for JustHealth in Maastricht
Maastricht, the Netherlands
On 24–25 September 2026, the JustHealth consortium met in Maastricht for two days of discussions and exchanges involving project partners, supervisors, the Doctoral Candidates and members of the Advisory Board.
Hosted by Maastricht University, the meeting provided an opportunity to review the project’s progress, discuss ongoing research activities and coordinate the next steps of the doctoral programme.
The meeting was also an occasion for the Doctoral Candidates to get to know each other and engage with researchers and supervisors from across the network. With backgrounds spanning ethics, governance, artificial intelligence, healthcare and co-creation, they will bring different perspectives to their individual research projects and the collaborative activities planned within JustHealth.
Particular attention was given to the research and training activities ahead, including the first JustHealth Interdisciplinary Bootcamp, which began in Maastricht on 28 September. The four-week programme combines theoretical sessions, practical exercises and opportunities for exchange, covering co-creation, ethics and governance, engineering and AI, and clinical perspectives.
The Maastricht meeting offered a starting point for closer collaboration among the Doctoral Candidates and the wider consortium as the project moves into its next phase of research and training.
