Giulia Bronzi

Giulia Bronzi is a Doctoral Candidate within the JustHealth project (DC2).

She holds a degree in Law from the University of Trento, where she specialised in Biolaw and Bioethics. Her research interests subsequently developed towards the regulation of emerging technologies in healthcare, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and the challenges posed by clinical decision support systems.

She previously worked at the IDIVAL research institute in Santander, Spain, where she contributed to the VALDATA project. As the project’s jurist, she worked on the development of a governance framework for a regional health data space.

Within JustHealth, her research focuses on contributing to the development, testing, validation and valorisation of a decolonised ethics and governance framework for just AI in healthcare, with particular emphasis on its governance dimensions (policy and regulation).
